Footeez Roller

The Footeez is a concave roller designed to help people self-manage muscular and fascial tightness. Its curved surface contours to the body for improved comfort and increased skin contact. Made of molded rubber it has an inner lightweight metal core for strength and its surface is coated with ribbed beads for a more effective release.

Originally designed to help manage plantar fasciitis (hence its name), its usefulness as an advanced fascial roller cannot be understated. Physiotherapists use it mainly to reduce ITB tightness and assist with the treatment of lateral knee pain. It can also assist with releases of TFL, Peroneals and Lats.

If you have foot pain or knee pain, or are an athlete in a lower-leg dominant sport (or any activity that involves running, jumping, cycling or lifting heavy things), you need a Footeez in your recovery kit.

Place it on the ground and position your leg over the roller. Use body weight to apply pressure. The Footeez roller is most effective when you use a slow, roll and hold technique.

Its hollow core is perfect for converting it to a massage roller. Just insert a piece of wooden dowel (if nothing else a wooden spoon will do) through the centre and use to release Tibialis Anterior or Quads.
